If you need to see a doctor, please telephone 023 80 241001.
You can book appointments 2 weeks and 1 week in advance and for the following day. Should you need to see a doctor urgently on the day you will be put into the triage system and a doctor will phone to assess you. The surgery is open and appointments are available between 8:30 and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Extended hours appointments are available on Tuesday evenings with a doctor, a nurse and a health care assistant.
Please telephone as soon as possible after 08:30. You may be asked to speak to a doctor or a practice nurse, but will be seen the same day if appropriate. If the problem is an emergency needing a doctor straight away please make this completely clear to the receptionist. In some circumstances (collapse, unconsciousness) you may wish to telephone the ambulance instead.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
