GP Net Earnings

Disclosure of GP Earnings 20/3/2019

The average pay for GPs working in Aldermoor Surgery in the last financial year was £54,7809 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 2 full time GPs and 4 part time GPs who working in the practice for more that 6 months

NHS England require that the net earning of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised by 31st March 2018.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method of calculation earnings is potentially misleading because it takes not account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used for any judgement about GP earnings, not to make any comparisons with other practices
